Los Porfiados opened last year in the up and coming and lively area of Anton Martin, the owners of which (four friends) are a mixture of Argentine and Catalan. This is the perfect place for a lively dinner with friends. The menu is small, but every option is delicious and wholesome. Fresh ingredients are used and clearly a lot of care is taken in the preparation of the food. The interiors are simple, rustic and warm, with dishevelled walls, brightly coloured furniture and bare lamp bulbs hanging from the ceiling. The prices are very reasonable, even for Madrid.
Come early if you don’t want to queue.
