La Quercia, Rome – EAT

June 6, 2015

La Quercia is the ideal place for lunch. Tucked around the corner from the Campo di Fiori and just off Piazza Farnese, it has a fantastic location, but it’ll seem like you are miles away from the tourist hordes.  The food is very Roman, and most visitors are local too.  Always a good sign.  It has a nice seating area outside, which I’d recommend over sitting inside (nothing special).  The deep fried stuffed courgette flowers are a must. If you order the mozzarella they will literally serve you a whole ball of it, with golden olive oil and balsamico if you wish.  They keep it simple but get it so right.  The owners are charming who will look after you well.
