El TriCiclo is a relatively new restaurant near Anton Martin which is another perfect dinner place. The interiors contrast strongly to it’s bright red exterior; you’ll find white walls, parts with exposed brickwork, shiny wooden floors and wooden furniture with a nod to Scandi design.
The food is creative, fresh and delicious, with original twists on classic Spanish dishes. All beautifully presented. The original concept is that you can order most dishes in different ‘raciones’ (serving portions), so you can order a full racion, half racion or a quarter if you just want a taste. This means you can pick and mix a number of dishes and try lots of the menu. Ideal for those who tend to get food envy (like me).
Very good value for money but certainly won’t be your cheapest meal in Madrid.
